Who's rising, who's falling after this week's Smackdown
Terrible booking heading into the PPV IMO
Where are Del Rio and Jericho? Why didnt they just make it Orton vs Sheamus if that's all they really seem to want us to care about. And why didnt Ziggler and Swagger come out and do something, preferably giving O'Neill and Young a win to put them further into the tag title chase, or at WORST cause a DQ win for the tag champs. What on earth did that match do other than bury O'Neill/Young after building them up the last several weeks. Just plain weird.
Rising
1. Damien Sandow - Mainly because I had him in the falling last week, and then they get him some attack points and even more heat from the crowd. Plus the little bit with Zack Ryder in the back could lead to a bigger feud for him sooner than later.
The usual suspects after that, Orton, Bryan, Santino ( =\ ), and the tag champs all looked strong in wins.
Falling
1. O'Neill/Young - I mean I still think they're decent holds for the time being, but I just dont get the decision to have them cleanly lose a week after their best win. Hopefully the WWE still has more in the plans for them, but that wasn't good (obviously)
2. Alberto Del Rio/Jericho - Perhaps the WWE is trying to swerve us all by having one of these two win the World Championship on Sunday after practically being non existent since the fatal 4 way was announced, but it seems less and less likely that anyone will win that's not named Sheamus or Orton. How do you not have these two on the go home show? Just plain weird again.
