Alberto Del Rio uncertain for Sunday after suffering a concussion at the Smackdown tapings

Del Rio did not work a scheduled house show appearance Saturday, and supposedly there is uncertainty over whether or not he'll be able to work the PPV on Sunday
Fantasy Impact: For the short term, not much. Del Rio was unlikely to win the match against Sheamus so even if he does miss the PPV, he'd more than likely just end up missing the PPV Star points and maybe a bonus point or two. He might miss out on a match or two if he's unable to perform at Raw or Smackdown this coming week which seems likely. It doesn't sound like a serious enough injury to consider dropping him off a league or anything drastic like that.
The more crucial question is who will take his place if he can't go? I don't see them pulling Kane or Daniel Bryan from the triple threat, Cena and Big Show are occupied, Orton is suspended, Rhodes and Christian have an IC match. Maybe Ziggler? It'd be tough for the WWE to sell that Ziggler would deserve a shot after just losing on Smackdown though. If they didn't just have Tensai lose on RAW I'd argue that he should get the shot just because he has pinfall victories over Cena and Punk lately. Obviously whoever it is will more than likely just be fodder for Sheamus anyway, so maybe it doesnt matter anyway. They could get some nice #1 contender stip points if the WWE decides Del Rio can't go early enough (Raw or Smackdown). Did I miss any contenders? If it's Khali I'm boycotting the WWE for the immediate future.
Long term is where I'd be more worried if I had Del Rio. He's just coming off an injury and this could make the WWE Officials question whether he's durable enough to push. Where's Mark Henry when you need him?

Just a minor update, Kane has been replacing Del Rio against Sheamus at house shows over the weekend. At this rate he's got to be considered the favorite to replace Del Rio at the PPV if they need one. I'd still be somewhat surprised at this move considering how much buildup the three way with Bryan Punk and especially AJ has gotten with Kane. Tonight should be interesting to see if they address it on RAW.
