Thoughts on the impact Monday's show has on FUW leagues
Good show. One of the better in storyline development they've done in a while. I find it odd Otunga and Mcgillicutty just recently got their entrance reworked and then lose the titles. Right when I saw their entrance I got the thought that holy crap, they might actually retain, but yet again my fortune telling holds correct and the #1 Rising pick from last week gets the pinfall victory in a tag championship match (but ya'll don't hear me though). Too bad for me Miz and R-Truth will have the tag belts by Survivor Series.
LOVE what they're setting up with Del Rio/Cena/Punk/Nash/HHH. I wasn't really engaged in the whole "who texted nash?" storyline until tonight, but now I'm enjoying the possibilities and I like that HHH is looking like the clueless idiot and hope they have a good bombshell for who's pulling the strings in reality. Obvious answers: Stephanie, Vince, Johnny Ace, Nash himself. Better possibilities: Shane, HBK, THE UNDERTAKER. No I dont really think it's him.
They're dragging out the Beth and Natalya thing WAYYYY too long, and in the LEAST they should have had them come down and beat the crap out of Bellas and/or Eve.
Swagger - yawn
Rising
1. Miz/Truth - As I've been saying for weeks now, these two WILL win the tag titles one day and I think it's a good way for the WWE to handle all the top talent they have when they clearly can't have them going after the WWE title. Kofi/Bourne vs Miz/Truth will be better than any match involving Otunga/McGillicutty that the WWE could have put together EVER.
No one else to really mention other than obviously Evan/Kofi and Swagger which I mentioned last week.
Falling:
1. Otunga/McGillicutty - is the ANY reason these two will ever get the belts back? EVER? I say no.
2. Alex Riley - Yes Alex, you are now being used as just a backdrop in a Swagger/Ziggler feud. Honestly IMO you deserve less. I think he could team with Zeke in FCW and that'd be perfect.
3. Santino - lol
