Choke's FUW Fantasy Impact: Friday Night Smackdown 5/27/2011

Thoughts on the impact Friday's show has on FUW leagues

Rising:

1. Sheamus - Naturally.   Even though I don't expect Sheamus to beat Orton next week, since Christian vs Orton seems to be what WWE really wants to sell us for the next few months, I still expect Sheamus to get quite a few points in the next few weeks or months as he's currently the top heel on the show.  No disrespect to Cody, Mark Henry, and.... the Great Khali?!

2.  Daniel Bryan - Setting up a feud with Cody Rhodes and his monstrous heat right now is one of the best things that could have happened to Bryan.

3.  Khali - I only include him because of how quickly they've escalated this story.  I was ready for the WWE to do weeks or months of Khali losing before finally having him snap and turn with Mahal.  Instead whatever they have planned with him as a heel looks to be starting NOW.  Should get some wins out of this, unfortunately that means we'll have to see him attempt to wrestle some more.

Falling:

1.  Corre -  Jesus Christ.  So they can't even defeat Zeke 3 on 1 now?  This is just pathetic.  They need to set up the Nexus vs Corre for the tags pronto or get Barret back into the World Title mix to save this group

2.  Mark Henry -  He'll get his turn, but all the sudden he feels like the odd man out in that group of 4.

3.  Chavo Guerrero - I'm guessing this is over.  Time for Sin Cara to move onto a more impressive feud.  Maybe the aforementioned Mark Henry?  Dibiase?

Injury/Signing Updates:  Some of this could be old news, just catching up

Layla will be out several months due to surgery

Kharma is reportedly going to be out 9 months (pregnancy?)  I'm still holding out for official word, but seems legit

Big Show allegedly is not going to be out for any extended period of time, but it'll be interesting to see how WWE plays that out

I personally expect John Morrison back after the next PPV to start a program back up with R-Truth.  Or Perhaps that'll be for Summerslam

WWE signed another Lucha Libre star Averno.  Supposedly he's had a major feud with Sin Cara.  When he debuts I expect him to be a great pickup.
