My predictions for Survivor Series

Survivor Series.  The "Big 4" PPV that makes everyone ask each year "Isn't this one of the big 4?  Why doesnt it feel like it?"    Well, because look at what they're giving us.   I don't know one wrestling fan who has expressed any interest or excitement for this PPV, yet the WWE is content with feeding us this stuff so long as the kiddies are buying to root for their hero Cena, and let's be honest, most of us just can't bring ourselves to ever give up watching wrestling at this point.   That's why, and I know I say this so much it'll be cliche soon, but THANK GOD FOR DROP THE BELT!   Now I can actually stand up and cheer when John Cena retains even if the storyline and match are awful.   Alright let's get to the shitshow:

Pre show kickoff match:   Miz vs Kofi Kingston

Well with the Miz heel turn it seems obvious that he should win.    They could however also go another way and have Kofi win with Miz attacking him after.   Either gets the point across.   I feel they go the first way though with Miz winning via some underhanded tactics

who should win:   Miz
Who will win:   Miz

Cody Rhodes, Goldust, the Usos and Rey Mysterio vs The Shield and the Real Americans

I think the WWE starts us off with a bang by having a traditional Survivor Series match with probably the best match talent-wise in the entire show.   Lots of story possibilities here as well in play.   First and foremost, the tag champs need to have a #1 contender solidified for their belts.  Will it be the Real Americans?  Will it be the Shield?  If so, they could pickup momentum by eliminating the champs.   Or are they going to move on from those two and go to the Wyatts when SS is over?  Will the Shield officially implode tonight?  Will Mysterio go over big to maybe set up a feud against Ambrose?   I'd like to see a 4 team TLC match for the tag belts next month at the TLC PPV.   Gonna go with Mysterio going over Ambrose for the finish.   Though I'd prefer the Shield going over to establish some of their dominance they've lost.   It must also be said how disappointing it is the belts arent on the line tonight.   They could have even thrown in some crazy stip that if Reigns/Rollins or the Real Americans were the lone sole survivors they win the tags by default.   I dont know.

Who should win:   The Shield (as sole survivors)
Who will win:   Mysterio (maybe with Cody and Goldust)

Big E Langston vs Curtis Axel for the IC Title

I like Big E as a mid-card champ.   Axel does nothing for me in or out the ring, and he needs a new gimmick/personality.   Once he left Heyman, the writing was on the wall.   I think Big E should go over quickly here, and they need to move onto someone else for him.   Maybe Sandow?   A Langston/Sandow/Ziggler triangle for the title would be a nice 3-way feud.

Who should win:  Langston
Who will win:  Langston

CM Punk and Daniel Bryan vs Erick Rowan and Luke Harper

Not a fan of this match unless something big comes out of it.    I think some have predicted we'd get into a Punk and Bryan feud, which I do find intriguing, so maybe this is the start of that with them losing the match and blaming each other.   I think more realistically we see Punk and Bryan go over on the Wyatt clan, and then they can either be thrown into a feud with each other for the #1 contender spot, or just go their separate ways.   Also, is AJ Lee controlling Wyatt and the crew?   References were made to "her" guiding hand, and as silly as i think it'd be from a storyline perspective (how on earth did that connection even happen!?), it does set up for some interesting dynamic.   AJ has history with Bryan and Punk, plus there's always the Brie/AJ dynamic which could coincide with a Wyatt/Bryan feud for the next month or two.

Who should win:   Harper and Rowan, if only to make this seem meaningful
Who will win:   Punk and Bryan, and in unexciting fashion probably

Team Total Divas vs Team AJ

This match SHOULD set up the next Divas #1 contender, with either Natalya, Brie, or maybe even Naomi going over on AJ for the finish.   I think it will probably wind down to be all of the total divas mains (Nattie, Bellas, Funkadactyls) left in the ring alone with AJ, or maybe AJ and Tamina.   It'll be the long built up climax to the AJ vs Total Divas stuff.   Then hopefully they move onto something much more interesting.    I think they're going to go with Natalya making AJ tap for the finish.

Who should win:   Brie Bella (only because Brie and AJ in the ring at the same time = swoon)
Who will win:   Natalya (setting up AJ vs Natalya for the Divas belt for the next month or 2)

Alberto Del Rio vs John Cena for the World Heavyweight Championship

Am I the only one who thinks the WWE just makes some of these cards to see how much they can get away with as far as uninspired storytelling and repeat matches and still have people buy?   I can just see this conversation happening in a few weeks "Wait a minute, the buyrate went up?   Even though we've given them the same PPV for the last 6 months?  This amazing!  These people will buy anything!!!"    "Sir, does that mean..."   "Yes, book it!!!!! Del Rio vs Cena for the Championship at the Royal Rumble in a steel cage!!!!!!   Fire all the writers!"    "We fired them 6 months ago sir"   "Oh yes I forgot."

Who should win:   John Cena (because I have him on my league)
Who will win:   Cena.  Is there any real doubt?

Big Show vs Randy Orton for the WWE Heavyweight Championship

You know as much as I hate this matchup on paper.   And oh, do I hate this matchup on paper, I must say I'm actually sort of intrigued by the recent Orton story on RAW with the Shield basically clowning him and his feeling like he's alone in all this combined with Steph and Trips not seeming overly confident in him.   Is the WWE preparing us for a big swerve?   God I hope so.   I think what would be the best is a return by Mark Henry.   Check out my scenario that will never happen:   Henry comes out right as Show is about to chokeslam Orton in the middle of the ring.   Show and Henry collide and Henry gets the upper hand and WORLDS STRONGEST SLAMS SHOW and the entire ring collapses.    Orton smiles and goes to cover Show when Henry picks him up and  WSSs him as well and Orton, unconscious gets the 123 or we get a double DQ or whatever.   Then the next several weeks sets up the questions of who is Henry working for, HHH and Steph?  Himself?   Paul Heyman?       Someone wake me up, I'm dreaming

Who should win:   MARK HENRY.    Er, Orton
Who will win:   Orton
